Practicum Week 2

We finished painting the rest of the animals and got them all cut out! I can't wait to see the finished project. They call it Zooland and each student gets an animal that they've been studying. They have to know atleast 5 little facts for when the parents and other classes come in too see their "zoo". It's a great project because the students are having fun but they are learning alot at the same time.

Last weekend

Last weekend after our morning class Sammy, Janey and myself took a road trip to Tri-Cities. It was good to take a break and get away with the girls and not worry about homework or what's for dinner. We will be doing that again very SOON!

Practicum Week 1

This week was great! It's nice to finally get to work with students. I had the chance to read out loud to the students as a whole, and watching their faces light up reminds me why I want to teach.
The class is working on a really big animal project so I helped them trace some life size animals and next week we will be painting them and cutting them out so I am really looking forward to that.
